Job Description/Responsibilities:
Support BRAC International Microfinance to drive innovation and knowledge across BRAC International’s portfolio of microfinance programs and support the implementation of best practice and cross-learning. The individual will report to the Programme Head, Microfinance and will work with country microfinance staff across BRAC International. The Knowledge and Relationship Management Specialist will also manage key relationships specific to the BRAC International Microfinance programme. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following -
- Drive innovation and knowledge sharing across BRAC International Microfinance.
- Capture and share new thinking and approaches that drive value across BRAC International Microfinance (topics may include digital financial services, agrifinance, edufinance, health finance, micro insurance, social performance management, client protection, client outcomes) and provide insights that will help maintain BRAC’s position as the number one global NGO.
- Research and contribute to innovative topics that can create new knowledge and insight.
- Support others in the creation of knowledge products, such as case studies, papers, blogs and articles, and create reports on knowledge management for stakeholder engagement.
- Arrange webinars, events, publications in which knowledge is shared out internally to BRAC International portfolio countries.
- Identify, roll out and own a knowledge management system and database where specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing and ongoing management. Specifically - catalogue, tag and archive documented knowledge for easy access. Ensure safe storage of knowledge. Train the organization on how to use the system if need be.
- Manage key relationships specific to BRAC International Microfinance and coordinate and communicate with key microfinance programme staff across the portfolio.
- Coordinate with BRAC’s programme development, resources mobilization and learning (PRL) team and BI Fundraising team.
